I finally got my very own raven mount! 10:30am i'm half a sleep and dual boxing setteck halls and just missed the reset timer by 10 mins so ate up today's shot at the mount and it turns out this was a really good thing because an epic mount was the drop! Reins of the Raven Lord
I wasn't sure it was real and double checked my bags then learned it fast before something bad happened. BUt yep! 45 min dual boxing runs every day or every other day. I think it took about 30 runs or so because i have exactly 20 epic gems so some runs dont drop gems so 30 runs is about it. not bad thats like 1 month of farming
i'll post pictures later. Its very very cool the best in game mount.

Celebrate Mother's Day - No WOW
date: 5/10/09 sunday
Event: mother's day
Hi everyone,
I know you all have mothers so please do her a favor and take mom out for a nice brunch/lunch of dinner, shopping or whatever mom likes. Oh and need I say it? GTFO your computer, its offline time no wow for at least 1/2 a day because you want to spend quality time with mom and not be trying to rush home for a raid or rushing her through the day because you're trying to get home to raid. Quality time ..well as you get older mom wont always be there so you want her to enjoy your company and you hers.
My plans for mother's day:
sleep in until 10-11am, then take mom out to lunch by 12 noon, track down an orchid plant to buy, then give her a box of godiva chocolates with a kiss and a bit of money to do her own shopping. Maybe i'll try my hand at origami .. but damm that origami orchid looks complicated so i may go with tulip folding. Heh I hate bargin shopping. WOW will be whenever that day as I dont have anything planned other run a setteck halls on heroic and do some leveling.
Gift Ideas (LOW budget $20-$50)
KISS - a kiss and go happy mother's day! $free
Chocolate - can't go wrong, godiva's the best
Cash - so mom can do her own shopping
Flowers - living or cut can't go wrong with these
Lunch - take mom out to someplace tasty
plush - or a "DIY" do it yourself origami folding aka free.

Guild raids or PUG raids?
you would think that a guild run is going to be smoother than say a pug but it all depends on what toons are being played it everyone is taking thier main sure otherwise it becomes a struggle with everyone taking their undergeared alts and that is a waste of my time. I seriously can do better pugging.
anyways I got a raid invite by our GM no less a guild wide invite to naxx 25 in the interest of guild activity and showing off my elite healing skills I think i wil show up to the raid and grab at some nice gear. but i think this will be the last raid I will attend for a long while because I am already geared from my 25 man pug runs and have no intention of going to uldar or any raids until the next expansion.
So far what I have been doing is getting healing gear with my resto spec while rolling on T7.5 druid set gear and using my tiered tokens for the melee dps gear because its a lot harder to get invited as melee dps than it is as resto. So .. next time i see T7.5 gear guess what? i'm rolling again :) this is why i pug because there's no drama in guild about how so and so has 2 sets of Tiered gear.
anyways this is also a chance for the guild to show off thier uber raiding skills because last time I went on a "guild" 25 man naxx it was nearly 50% pug if not more and the rest of the guild members brought thier undergeared alts to naxx. My pug runs were better because I do an amory of people in my naxx 25 mans before I zone into the instance and if too many people look undergeared and obviously look like they're trying to skip 10 man to do 25 man then I leave group.
sure this is selfish but being that it is a pug I am there to get loots so to have too many competitors and low chances of downing bosses thats not my idea of fun. Gear tells alot about the raid skill if mosto f the raid is in tiered set that means they know thier stuff and have the gear to down the bosses.
For now I like the name brand guild tag. a nonraider with an elite raiding guild tag .. totally fashionable.

Raiding guilds and the casual nonraider
my alliance main has this issue where my end game goals are slightly different from the guild's idea of end game. I only want to get enough gear to solo or two box farm ZG, KZ, Setteck halls and stratolme for the mounts and that amount has been reached.
Raiding guilds are very focused teams when it comes to raiding up cutting edge instances. Its another story when it comes to heroics, easy farm instances. I'm surprised that people have such a hard time getting groups going its like no one wants to do anything fun like mount farming or enchant recipe farming! but i dont blame em .. seeing that it is me who is the exception aka nonraider.
I've seen cases where guild members would spend hours going anyone for heroic occulus before giving up and logging or joining a pug group 2-3 hours later. I on the other hand can put together a group for whatever instance in about 5-7 mins with a fairly high sucess rate and thats because I'm proactive when it comes to groups . As a courtesy i ask in guild chat first as i rather take raiders with gear and skill over the unknown pug which could have niether. Usually I dont expect a reply and I never post more than once because to do so would sound like i'm nagging. So i post once and start my out of guild search so by the 7 min mark i've go a group and am instancing.
1.) ask in guild chat, "LFM heroic magister's terrace" or whatever instance i wanted to do
2.) type in LFG channel: LFM heroic etc
3.) start search/armorying of people: /who class level or zone
4.) look in friendslist and ask them first
5.) only take people who are geared, specced for the instance
6.) not be afraid to say no to a severly undergeared/underleveled guildie.
Groups must be balanced: 1 tank, 1 healer, 1 melee dps, 1 ranged, 1 mage or lock
I don't mind having to pug my instances as I've a whole friends list of people who are good in thier classes so I rarely have trouble finding people who want to do a certain instance. So far I've declined a the guild altoholic who wants to bring thier underlevled toon to my instances which i kindly explained that the group isn't geared enough to take anyone under 80.

Kopiko Coffee Candy - WOW essential
Woot I accidentally discovered that this kopiko coffee candy has caffine! well .. the ingrediens say extract of coffee so duh. I think this should be added to the WOW players stash of rations to have on hand for late nite wow sessions / raiding. I gave some of these to a friend who ate the entire bag in one day as it was so yummy then reported backk saying these things are caffinated!
kopiko is good for
pvp, pve, raiding, farming .. you name it all things wow related. I would put this with food/water almost. its like coffee that won't spill on you and your equiptment unless you choose to drool .
Kopika Coffee Candy:
The candy is reasonably sweet, though not to the degree that one misses the coffee taste, as in some coffee candies. These have the taste of a reasonably strong, but sweet, cup of coffee. They are perfect if you like sweets and like coffee.
Ingredients: Sugar, glucose, vegetable oil (may contain soy bean oil, corn oil, or coconut oil) coffee extract, dairy cream, caramel color, lecithin, salt, natural and artificial color. Net Wt: 5.29 oz
