Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to share my new purchase the Lenovo S10 netbook in pink. Due to my new schedule and slightly more mobile lifestyle I've decided to invest in a netbook to keep on top of my readings, internet affairs, write up some minor java bits and yes to check email and such w/o worrying that i'm typing in my password in unsecured systems out there. Uhm yea wow forums guild forums and the like.
Since its a netbook I can't play wow on it. The goal is to keep my bag light with most of my files as PDFs and it plays music so I can listen to stuff while studying and watch anime when I'm on break time as well handle real work that I'd otherwise have to wait until I get home late night.
Oh did I mention light weight and cute?totally the cafe companion
WiiFi - there's free internet scattered all over the place.

Character progress for the week
I cleared out almost all of the Love festival quests except for the ones that require level 80, did sunken temple and magister's terrace on the priest. Oh I added one DK's 74's name to my ignore list as he promised to do ST, made me wait 20 mins while he levels then leaves our group waiting for 10 mins while he "afked" so I replaced him and you know what? Since he obviously thought it was funny to waste our group's time so he is now on permenant ignore so I dont ever join or let him in to my groups.
Otherwise I added more stuff to farm for future Magister's Terrace heroics a White hawk strider!!

Event: Love is in the Air!
So there's a pet from this event! I must get this peddlefeet pet for my alliance and horde mains. Actually it would be awesome if it was a BOA and i can give it to my auction alt but .. it seems its relog and alt farming for the dresses.
This is the only event that a level 1 can participate in so woot for alts! I have 10 character slots used up per server so I have no shortage of qualified alts. For other special events quests they're all limited by the max level cap.
So far I have been relogging among my 3 servers and 5-10 alts per server and 2 accts . Relogging is a FT job! Okies time to sleep
4x lovely black dress
4x romantic basket
2x true silver shafted arrow (perma peddlefeet)
lots of random stuff.

Movies I've watched or will watch.
*The Unborn (2009)
*SAW 1-5
*X-Men: Wolverin
*James Bond 007: Quantum Solace
*harry potter: half blood prince
*warcraft -- not yet out
PROJECT: burn these to DVD so I can watch them later or harddrive it
Star Trek (collection) maybe? ..sigh no hard drive space or I would archive the whole thing.
Uhm ok that's about it I'm not much of a movie watcher. I have a few on my list of must see list the rest goes on the must see list except the list got lost or forgot the movie.

Achievements for Any and Everything!
Whats up with these achievements? WOW added in yet another time sink for people who eat up their content in the first months and to keep the more casual hooked. It's positive reinforcement you do something that took up 1 hour of your time grinding or what not to get a piece of fruit so bliz goes /cheer /congratz annouces it for the world to see. You see they're providing you with an virtual audience and motivator. People like being complimented thats just human natures So I estimated the Blizzard added in 93,900 separate achievements for WOLK wowhead had 939 pages. Surely this will keep people busy until the next expac. More questing more grinding ..more WOW
meh i'm going for the white drake and pet on one toon and it's me druid but very casually. I don't care to spend so much time doing something just because its an "achievement" what next time I get praised for sucessfully logging on or just the mere fact that I made it sucessfully from my bed to desk?
9000 different achievement rewards
http://www.wowhead.com/?achievements#0+1+2
Anyways that doesn't mean that I'm going to skip it all provided that there is a reward then I will do it. lol I want a white drake mount.

Game Edu #2 WOW Girl Meets PSP
Sorry WOW isn't on PSP just yet but this picture was too good to pass up. 1/2/09 Sony has annouced the PSP keyboard due out middle of 2009 so there is hope yet.
I have discovered a new gaming platform the Sony PSP. So there are games other than WOW well i'm an old school gamer who skipped everyplatform/game out there and went from text MUDS straight to World of Warcraft.
My favorite game? Puzzle Quest
Games I own: tekken, jeaniedark, naruto, bleach, daxter, family guy, wild arms, marvick x hunter, valkeri profile, blade dancer
Useful real life applications:
Puzzel quest game helps with chemistry!
While doing my chem h.w today I realized that it was almost like playing a game of puzzelquest where I'm trying to find the matching numbers.
amazingly enough puzzle quests's matching 3,4,5 of same items while making sure you're not helping the enemy win while protecting your stuff is alot like chemistry's Stoichiometry balancing chemical equation. You're looking to match things up in equal numbers and watching what happens to the other side.
EXAMPLES
Chemistry: balancing equations
