How to farm the AH
just an update to my gold farming secrets. At this point i think it safe to say lets all share because there's no secrets after 5 years of wow's up time.
I am a business elf and unlike most people who's "main" is a max level character and nicly geared my main is level 1 toon who usually has some 50k gold on hand. my level 1 toon funds all my alts and shopping needs. ironic isn't it.
My specialty is: rare recipes, hard to find enchants, enchant mats. This is mainly because i dont care to farm herbds or ores so do not have any raw mats to sell. I much rather farm the AH than pick flowers then sell em but to each his own.
AH is the only profession that has no limit on how much you make and everything else can make 250g per hour. Questing, dailies, farming, herbing, oring. ya i counted.
run auctioneer scan at least 2x a day, scan the AH manually looking for your specialty's items and seeing if its a deal, buy out anything at 50% discount and if its super rare you buy and hold then list on AH at its market vaule for as long as it takes to sell. You'd be surprise prices people will pay if they realize that there is no other seller its buy it from you or not have it at all.

The De-Evolution of a WOWer
ya think i'd be more motivated to wow since i am on vacation. but nope. i just logged in to grab my BB gun for the achievvement and logged right out. well it doesn't help that my netbook isn't wow capable and the spare desktop crashes whenever wow boots up but its ok .. i actually don't care that much. i'll wow when i get back to my home computer. haha the de-evolution of a hardcore wower. A few years ago I couldn't imagine life without WOW but now its like meh. I know who my friends are and well if they dont wow thats ok too because I still think highly of them.
what i did do was catch up on all my sleep dept for 4 months, eat cooked real foods and clean up. Filled out some job applications wrote 5 plus essays as i had to rewrite a few of em.
Otherwise yes there's a lot more time once ya do limited wow or schedule it in and stop at the designated time. on my end I just cease to care that is all
I think WOW is a problem only if you let it become one otherwise its just another leisure activity i can do it or not and its not a big deal. Uhm ya I am a user not an abuser make sense?

Exalted! Cenarion Circle!
Exalted I grinded some rep and lots of gold while getting this rep out of th way. Yep started at 9pm and decided I was gonna get my rep before I need to take wow diet for me school year. Notice I said diet as in limited intake and portion control no where did I say I was quitting etc. Oh and yes this is the case of recreational use an not addiction.. though judging from my play in the last 3 days you'd think otherwise aka addict.most of the rep was from pre-bc so easy for me

Hardcore Wower (LE) Limited Edition
okies with winter break here i am now a hard core wower just for the duration of the break. I'm on morning day and nite.
my goals are doing the shatari skyguard rep just the bombing dailies as i can't stand to grind mobs, run karazhan, heroic magisters terrace, zul gurub for its mount drops and all other times go grind stratolme.
achievement: merry maker (completed). Also i raid up aq40 when time permits, do a random heroic or so and otherwise farm up the auction house on three servers.

completed: merry maker achievement. I've completed all the quests in piecemeal and at this point i'm tired of repetitive questing on alts so i'm making this my "main" in terms of mounts and achievements.

Lazy Gamer
So i have a small chunk of wow time coming up and guess what? I have no interest in grinding anything .. it seems i've mellowed out a bunch and logging in once a day to use my xmutes, fast ah, and maybe one instance is good enough for me. Ah well but it really is WOW for next 3 days like there's no tomorrow or skip it and go back to limited wow as I've got projects to do soon.
